New Years Eve 2008 : New Years Eve 2008 was celebrated at McCormack & Schmicks at the newly designed and built National Harbor which overlooks the Potomac River and a great view of the newly built Woodrow Wilson Bridge. Janko and Sally plus Karen and Albert joined us to bring in the New Year. Happy New Year to all !

Larry & Phyllis's New Retirement Home. : One of my closest friends has retired and moved to Maine. Larry and I could write a book of our adventures but we won't! The picture of the blue older house was Phyllis's moms, I remember helping Larry move a refridgerator into that house..what a chore that was. The sunset picture was taken from their living room...wow. Congrats to both, what a lovely place to retire.

Ricks Railroad (Woodhaven) : Welcome to Ricks Railroad of Woodhaven Estates. Our neighbor Rick has no prior experiance at model railroading let alone to try it outdoors. He has an "N" scale inside his pool house. The scale on the outdoor railroad is a "G" scale. It is a work in progress and I will keep this site updated as work progresses.
